Wasn't that a Party.....

Wow! Thank you all for coming to our "frosh" party! I had a blast! :-D

I am glad that so many people enjoyed the Purple Jesus last night, (even if they are not enjoying it this morning)!!! I think that mixing my Long Islands with Full sugar, full caffiene Coke (since I don't usually drink it at all!) was perhaps not my very best choice, since I had trouble sleeping last night, but otherwise, I am pretty ok.... :-D :-D

Special mention must be mde (I think) to the following:
Thank you to my Queen's sisters- it was so Great to be Blonde again, and _totally_ unashamed!
Thank you to Keszone for getting _SO_ into the theme- you totally _were_ like a virgin! :-D
Thank you to Gina for helping me get stuff done before everyone else came, and for refilling the trays when I had no brain!
Thank you to all the handsome men and sexy women I kissed last night- Yummy!
Thank you-i think- to Jacamo, for making the night unforgetable, in your own special way... I hope you are feeling ok today!!!

And of course thank you to Govianus for being the reason to have this party and for 'spinning' the tunes
And even bigger thanks to Ansfrid for letting me have the party, and for tidying up after- You are an Angel my darling!

Wow, Yeah, you should give him an extra hug for that!

Even if it wasn't _everything_ it was a very significant amount both before he went to bed and when he got up (well before me). All the scattered plates/cups/glasses/tins were in the garbage or stacked waiting to be crushed (and he only didn't crush them right away because I insisted that was not the first thing I wanted to hear!). The chairs were in thier proper places, the dishes in the dishwasher. And then he did the non washer dishes.

Truely, I am blessed! :-D

I am So pleased that you had a good time at the party- I very much enjoyed you.... being there! ;-D

Sounds like a blast! Helen, I just got my email from the Madrone Culinary Guild list and they post a recipe for Red Red Stew. Would you be interested in looking at it, or are you adequately fixed for red food?

I haven't heard of it in years...
Did you use the genuine article, Al-cool (the cheapest grain spirit you can find)? If it doesn't say 'alcool' en francais, you haven't found the right shelf yet...look lower.

Got any pics of kes_zone in her 80s finery?
